Velvet Gold

Trying desperately to live up to its elegant sounding name leaves this bar at the crossroads between casual diners and gang members. Nestled in at the bad edge of town, Velvet Gold is an average, slightly run down building on the outside, in need of constant fight repair on the inside. A standard, honey colored wooden bar stretches along on wall, various bottles of liquor and alcohol just out of reach of the bar stools occupying the other side. It attempts to look orderly with its small, four person tables and booths lined up about the room, but the grim and gloom that lurk in the dim lighting and haunt the dance floor give a much more deathly appearance then the bright and cheerful name.
